Nature in California

On a recent trip around California, I saw an exhibition of photographs by Eliot Porter. What interested me is that his love of nature meant he avoided the classic, stirring landscape shots, and instead tried to find tiny instances of texture, color, and form, everywhere. So, a couple of days later in Yosemite, I made what attempt I could at following his practice.
